No treasury report, Brian J is not present. Cheque for SSW rental is required.
Membership Report : 166 members as of beginning of meeting
Solo Report: Looking into display clock to work with timing system. Brian will check next month.
Would the region be interested in contributing to the cost? We will have to research software issues and compatibility as well as possible uses before presenting to region.
Next event August 14 at Scotia Speed world. Volunteers to arrive at 4pm. Next event also at SSW on 28th. Loring is this weekend as well. None in attendance are going.
The last Church event is Sept 14. According to officials, the church has been happy with our running of events.
Shearwater officials are interested in us having an event. Looking into costs, facilities, etc.
Lapping sept 21 with potluck Saturday before last race?
Mmsc trying for coliseum sept1 and 8. Maybe having club event that day.
Nationals next year will be Slemon. Should ASCC do a bbq? There was no food this year on Saturday or Sunday, it would be nice to have food. Book hotels early for next year. 1, 2, & 3 of Aug.
Race Report: good day. Okay weather. 13 sedans, 8 miatas, 3 open wheel. Drivers red flagged were permitted to reenter race, which may be a rule infraction. This is currently under investigation and review. Next race sept 22. George will pass out track guide at slalom.
Rally: Last event was in July. 8 cars. Lookoff rally coming up. Competitors from out of the region are confirmed. Display at parc exposé Aug 24 2 to 4. Beside shops of Dartmouth Crossing. Bring racecars to show as well. 5pm is the spectator stage at Conrads pit. Pass out track guide at spec stage?
Nav rally sept 8. All paved roads. Starts at Wheaton’s in Lower Sackville. 100kms.
New business: AGM is mid -Nov at the Westin Halifax.
