Rally of the Midwinter Moon

The 2007 Rally year started on a High: 11 cars entered ASCC's Rally of the Midwinter Moon and all 11 cars (6 Experience Crews and 5 Novice) saw all 14 check points! In fact both the experienced and the novice class saw ties for 1st place. IN Experienced Class Bill Anwyll and Brian Jarvis scored 3 penalty points as did James and Cathy Partridge. Tie breaking was difficult as both crews had nearly identical records. The third level of tie breaking gives the nod to Bill and Brian! In Novice Class, Dominique Auffrey and Ghislain Doucet, as well as Colin Wilmshurst and Amanda Rafuse both scored 7 points, with the tie breaker putting Dominiqie and Ghislain in 1st place. Congratulations to all 4 winning teams!

The next Regional Rally is only about a week away: BAC's Snow What Rally on 10 February, starting at Vantage Motors on Robie Street in Truro NS. Registration opens at 1400 hrs, 1st car will start at 1602. (This Rally was originally the Snow White, but the Disney Co. challenged BAC on the use of the name! Seems to me that story goes back a bit before even Walt himself, but snow what!)
