Membership Report 142 Members presently. Treasurer Report Paypal $5974.89, Chequing $7454.73 Outgoing Cheque to Millbrook First Nation for lot rental still to be cleared. Outgoing Cheque to MMSC for Luc and Jenna Spikema's membership, still to be cashed. One entry already for the September double soloSprint received. Approximately $11700 in total. Remainder of outstanding memberships to ARMS TBD and paid. Race Report The August race is a double header event. The entry is raised to $550 to make up for expenses. A BBQ and live entertainment will be on site Saturday night. Rally Report The third regional navigational rally of the season was last month in Musquodobit organized by Perry Falconer and Sherrie Hennigar for BAC. 8 teams showed up and the event was successful. The first Rallysprint of the season was held two weeks ago in Devon, NS. 7 teams competed and the event went off well. One incident was well handled and a detailed report will be presented to CARS for review. Solo Report The MMSC regional double of Slalom at Slemon took place this past weekend. Attendance was a little low with 38 competitors due to a number of factors including a U2 concert in Moncton and high gas prices. Weather was decent with the exception of the second heat on Saturday which ran in the rain. Discussions took place regarding the course design. The next ASCC slalom event is August 7th at the Truro Power Centre. This event has been moved from Digby. The next SoloSprint is Labor Day weekend in September. AFRA is considering cancelling the next lapping day due to lack of attendance. New Business Andy Mitchell of ARRCA expressed some concern regarding an incident at Monday's track day where here was painting in the paddock and was asked to stop due to concerns about spray on cars. Some disagreement over the specifics of the incident have been reported. ASCC Decals are still being investigated. Umberto LoPresti has consulted Sherrie Hennigar for a quote.
