The previous decal provider has become unavailable. Jason will consult with Sherrie Hennigar about her options for having decals made. Presidents Report No formal President's Report was provided. Membership Report 135 members including 5 new signups at the Double Digby on the weekend. Treasurer Report The T-Shirt order for Digby was $538.64. All lot rentals and insurance are up to date. Currently Solo is running $450 net positive for the year, not including output to the Partridges for Digby. Currently the club is running a $1975 deficit this year over this time 2010. Primarily this is a reduction due to general expenses being significantly higher owing to paying for SoloSprint events in advance, conversion of archive materials (Videos, $1000), location rental fees are up ($250/day for Digby, more for AMP). Slalom numbers continue to maintain a low turnout. Account balances are $6385.50 in the chequing account, $5548.98 in PayPal. Concerns were expressed regarding the diminishing income of the club with only the HPDS and Solo making marginal returns. The lack of additional race schools, lapping, etc means we are generally operating at a loss. Total PayPal fees for this year so far are $156. Issues were brought up concerning the specifics of AMP rental costs not being clear. This makes expenses very difficult to determine. Race Report At the ARMS #3 race there was an incident involving a Spec Miata and Honda CRX. A video of the incident was reviewed. The June race was a double header event. Though 3 Spec Miatas were present and held their own race, numbers were not sufficient to be in the black and a significant cost deficit of $1600 resulted over the two days. The August double header weekend will have the entry increased to $600 from $450 for the two days. Rally Report The third regional Navigational rally event will take place in Musquodobit this Saturday. The Measures of Musquodobit Madness rally, organized by Perry Falconer and Sherrie Hennigar will be a 200km event starting in Dartmouth and ending in the Head of Jeddore. The first RallySprint of the season is on June 24th in Devan, NS. The Baie de Chaleurs rally took place this past weekend, several BAC and ASCC members attended to help out with the event organization. Local competitors Steve Quigley and Dana Nauss finished 13th overall. Solo Report A discussion took place regarding remunerating James and Charlotte Partridge attending the Digby event to run the timing. Gas and lodging expenses were discussed. The Double Digby had 24 entrants for Saturday and 22 Sunday. Expenses for the event were $536 for the Tshirts, $750 for the airport rental. Overall the club lost money on the event, however the final total will not be known until expenses for Pidge and Charlotte are sorted out. There were some issues with the accommodations and meal but in the end all went well and the event was a success. Only a few entries were present for the friday Test and Tune event. At current expense levels SoloSprint/Time Attack would require 20 entries to break even. The September events of 2010 had 22-23 entries per day. Entry rates have been increased for 2011 to $120 to cover expenses. The next Slalom event is July 18th at the Truro Power Centre. New Business Meeting adjourned at: 9:24pm Todo:
