Membership Report Debbie provided membership forms collected at several events to Jason. Jason provided membership forms and money to Brian for accounting. A discussion took place around the difficulties being experienced with the online membership and event registration regarding reconciling registrations with Payments. It was agreed that Gordon will update the online form to indicate that online forms must be completed online with payment and physical forms must be completed with physical payment. Treasurer Report Radio rental for the HPDS has been paid in cash rather than a followup cheque. ASCC owes AFRA $140 for a student exchange between the HPDS and the AFRA lapping school. Race Report No race report or discussion took place. Rally Report The next Navigational rally is the BAC Bluenose rally, a regional event on June 12th. The supplemental regulations for the first BAC RallySprint of the season have been made available and will be posted shortly. The first event is July 25th in Devan, NS. Solo Report Insurance for the upcoming July SoloSprint/Time Attack event was arranged between Brian and Taylor, a $600 cheque was cut and will be sent to ASN. The September 3/4 SoloSprint/Time Attack event will be a 'weekend event' at an insurance discount. A discussion took place concerning safety in events after several minor incidents. The next ASCC Slalom of the season is tomorrow night at the Truro Power Centre. Debbie, Jason and Taylor put their heads together to plan out a two-lot slalom course for tomorrow night's event. Everything is in place for the July Digby double header weekend with the exception of a design for potential T-Shirts. The Admiral Digby has reserved 20 rooms for ASCC. The Supplemental Regulations are available on the ARMS site and will be on the ASCC site shortly. Cars can be left at the airport on Friday in a secure 24hour lot. A letter of complaint was received from Luc Spikema concerning the High Performance Driving School, he feels that he did not receive value for dollar provided due to the fact that neither he nor his wife passed the school. Though he feels he deserves a refund it was discussed and agreed that no refund will be provided. The matter will be addressed by Brian Gay. New Business Umberto provided 3.5" Floppies of the Slalom/Sprint timing software for use in the rebuilt ASCC laptop. Brian Jarvis attended a public consultation meeting for the proposed new Halifax stadium in the interests of representing ASCC. Questions were proposed about making the exterior areas of the Stadium (such as the parking lot) as methods of revenue generation. In sad news, Derek Lugar's father passed away last week under tragic circumstances.
