Membership Report Approximately 30 members are currently registered. Treasurer Report Various deposits and cheques were addressed by Brian Jarvis. The PayPal account has been transferred to the CIBC account leaving the balances approximately $56 for PayPal and $14,xxx in CIBC with approximately $4000 still owing to AMP in un-cashed cheques. ARMS has not invoices for regional membership levies yet. Race Report Bill Anwyll has indicated that there may not be formula car racing this year. Only Bill and Jason Smith are confirmed as available for the season. A discussion took place concerning the ARMS investigation into the purchase of an electronic timing system for AMP. Financing would be arranged via each club contributing over a 10 year amortization. As this request hasn't been formally put forward yet, no motion was made. It was decided that ARMS must formally present a case for the timing system with pros, cons and costs. Rally Report The first Regional rally of the year will be run by ASCC, organized by Ian Pearce, Maria Driscoll and Tim Dine. It will take place starting from Enfield on January 29th. BAC's Ron McKenzie will be travelling to the CARS AGM in January to share information of the future organizing of performance rally events and looking towards full regional stage rally in the future. Solo Report Further discussion took place concerning the rules to be used for 2011. Since ASN Canada has not produced a 2011 rule set at this time, ASCC will likely use SCCA classifications with 2010 rules until other options are available. Jason Smith plans for a large scale double regional event at Digby again this year with plans to make it a true marquee regional event for the club. New Business The ASCC website needs update. Jason Smith has begun a framework of a new site and will pass it along to Gordon. The level of work required to make this a usable site will be evaluated. Goals for the ASCC Website: - Event Calendar - Club information (executive, contact, how to join) - Links to ARMS forum for discussion - History information/pictures Directors were appointed by the executive with the Race, Rally and Solo positions remaining unchanged. ASCC will make an effort to make a presence at Speed Sport East in Moncton this year. Consideration will be made for who to approach for cars and people to attend. Meeting adjourned at: 9:05pm. Todo:
