Brian Jarvis has those handwritten minutes and will provide them to Gordon for the records. Presidents Report No formal Presidents report was provided. Membership Report Approximately 130 members, a little low for this time of year. Treasurer Report Brian Jarvis was not present so no treasurers report was provided. Race Report The June Race weekend took place as a double weekend that made money in combination with a Friday lapping session. Numbers were strong in both open wheel and sedan cars though there were several disciplinary incidents relating to an open wheel race. Dollars from the event were affected by confusion at the gate concerning race license holders not being charged admission. As such gate fees were somewhat lower. Questions were raised about the filing of the report for the incident and how it was filled out, several inaccuracies of information were reported and ASN might request clarification. Walter Tennant filled out the paperwork and Mike McRea will followup with ASN. No race will be held in July per the calendar, the next race weekend will be in late August. Rally Report The first BAC RallySprint event for 2010 will take place in July 25th with 11 teams currently entered. BAC had the second regional rally of the season in June which was well attended. There was also a BAC Club level rally which was poorly attended due to lack of proper advertising. The next Navigational rally event is the BAC TO Bridgewater event, scheduled for October. Solo Report Bill Anwyll has made arrangements with a waterfront lot for slalom use. Discussions were had about the number of events to attempt at this lot. Some feel that a few number of events to start would be preferable while others believe we should have as many events as possible. This will be discussed with the ASCC Solo Director. Jason suggested July 18th as the first event at this lot and a Test and Tune on August 8th. A number of other dates were suggested by Debbie and Jason will approach Bill. Additional equipment such as fire extinguishers, vests and caution tape will be purchased. 21 and 18 entries for last weekend's Digby Regional double event, possibly due to the proximity to the Canada Day Weekend. Several no-shows from pre-registrations affected the entries. No entries from New Brunswick for this event even though it was a regional. Jason received the invoice from Digby at a discounted rate of $150 a day rather than the usual $250. Alan Coles asked about a tow fund for the CNAC National Slalom in Quebec. Dave Hull indicates there may be a $100 tow fund from the region. There was a $5000 tow fund for 2008 but none was offered in 2009. Dave Hull will contact ASN to confirm that no tow fund is currently available. It was voted by the executive to match the regional contribution of $100 for competitors going to the Nationals. Jason submitted the idea of an additional $100 for each class winner to promote good competition by local representatives. Debbie will contact Brian and Alan with the details. A discussion, begun by George, took place concerning ARMS place within ARMS regarding Slalom. George feels that classing is following too closely to SCCA, with all its faults in classifications. New Business Meeting adjourned at: 9:05pm Todo: Princess Auto - Caution Tape - Vests (dozen) Maritime Fire and Safety - 2.5 lb BC (Fit in bucket?) x5
