The only business of note arising from the meeting was the acceptance of AARCA into the ARMS organization allowing them to be covered by ASN insurance. Presidents Report No formal presidents report was provided. Membership Report No formal membership report was provided. Treasurer Report Brian Jarvis was not present so no Treasurers report was provided. Jason has some outstanding expenses concerning the Speed Sport attendance. Race Report The High Performance Driving School is coming up and currently has 30 positions filled with 27 deposits. AARCA will not be official represented but some marshals and volunteers will be present to help out. Food services are still to be determined as Joanne and Paul have sold their chip truck. The ASCC Radios will be used for the HPDS. Jason will purchase a couple of additional radios to replace the broken ones from last season to make sure that we're covered. The Race school currently stands at 3 participants with possibly 4 attending. AARCA has a new pricing structure where they charge $250 an event flat rate regardless of number of competitors. If marshal services are not required but the truck is used the charge is $50. A discussion took place regarding how to administer credits for marshalling vs events like lapping and schools. Rally Report The first BAC RallySprint event will be held July 25th with as many as 5 cars attending with multiple crews. Should be a great event.. The second Navigational Rally will take place with the BAC Bluenose Rally will take place June 5th starting and ending in Windsor. Solo Report The first slalom of the year is this sunday at Scotia Speed World. The EVO School is almost full with two places remaining. If those positions aren't filled the costs for those who are attending will go up slightly. New Business Jason Smith attended the Moncton SpeedSport event last weekend and emphasized that this event is a huge missed opportunity. We should put more effort into supporting this event in the future to get the word out there. The event requires volunteers and more representation of ARMS clubs. Meeting adjourned at: 8:54pm Todo:
