Membership Report Just under 180 members. Approximately 10 members joined after September making their memberships carry over to 2010. Treasurer Report Several cheques to ARMS and AMP are due for levies and events like the SoloSprint Nationals. No balance totals were provided. Race Report Debbie Miller is the new regional race director. The race committee has been re-formed which has already met. A single fee for license, car number, user fees. $140 including gate fees. Bill suggested a flat rate AFRA rate for weekends due to the lower amount of track time. This rate would be based on 4 cars and would be paid regardless of entries. This will be formally presented to the race committee via the AFRA race director. (Jason Smith) Legends cars can run at AMP now under their own regulations and their own supplemental ruleset. Legends organizers are definitely intested in racing and this will be pursued. 6-8 cars are anticipated. Rally Report The ARMS AGM took place last month. At the Rally Workshop discussions were had around whether or not to divide the experienced class into equipped/unequipped. At the end of the day it was decided that more education for novice crews would be more beneficial than diluting the classes. NO rule changes were made. January 9th will be a Rally school and at the end of the month will be the first Navigational rally with the ASCC Musquodobit Madness rally organized by Ian Pearce and Maria Driscoll. Four regional navigational events will be held through 2010. Solo Report Jason Smith was elected as the regional SoloSprint director. Karts in solo was discussed and it was agreed to go with ASN recommendations. Regional rules will be discussed once nationals are released for review. Ray proposed a safety steward for events but training would be required. 4 regional SoloSprint events to be held in 2010 with ASCC hosting as many as required and MMSC/FMC hopefully organizing others. A double event will be held on Labor Day weekend. Jason was talking with someone at the Debert airport to arrange a slalom. One runway was offered with the Digby airport used as a reference. Followups are pending. AGM Report: The ASCC AGM will be held in January, a notice envelope stuffing party will be held next week at the General meeting. The AGM will be held at Kartbahn with the usual Karting for food donation arrangement. Brian Jarvis will not be standing for ASCC Club president. Other positions will be elected as required. Taylor MacArthur will be taking over Solo director positions. Meeting adjourned at: 8:37pm Todo:
