Membership Report Approximately 167 members. Treasurer Report Extensive balancing was done of the club books as far as income and outgoing cheques between Brian and Colin. Prior to the balancing the balances were $22480 in chequing, $503.21 in Paypal but many cheques were written tonight. Approximately $1200 in cash was also collected. Owing amounts are up to date with ARMS with some minor exceptions. Race Report The double header race weekend in September was a success. The Saturday Pig Roast was excellent. Attendance was average. Monday will be the 2nd annual Jack Canfield enduro. Sponsors and prizes are lined up and insurance will be covered with no cost to ASCC. Profit, if any, will go back to AMP for track improvements. Race entry is $100. A couple of out of town racers will be present from Maine and New Hampshire including some Spec Miatas. Several of the local Legends cars will be present as well. Marshals and workers are required as usual. A nomination is being solicited for Paul Macdonell for the Ken Vaughan Cup. Information is being gathered. Rally Report The TO Bridgewater rally, organized by BAC via Clarke Paynter, will take place on the 17th of October as planned, though supplemental regulations have yet to be releaed. The BAC RallySprint #2 has been indefinitely postponned for organizational reasons. The BAC RallyCross season starts off with an event at Atlantic Motorsport Park on October 25th. Gordon will be organizing an end of year rally dinner/awards presentation at some point in November, details to follow. The Targa Newfoundland rally took place in September with ASCC members Brian Jarvis and Daphne Sleigh finishing 4th overall and 3rd in class in Touring class in Brian's 2007 John Cooper Works Mini. Other local members participating included Kirk Alxander/Bob Yuille and Brian Borubanniere. Solo Report The final ASCC (And ARMS regional) event took place on September 27th at Atlantic Motorsport Park. No more regional events are scheduled for 2009. A discussion took place regarding Karts in slalom took place. ASN has indicated they will consider re-writing the rules if formal interest is presented from enough clubs. Clubs must discuss at the board level and present to their regional Solo directors. A vote will be taken at the ASCC AGM on whether or not to support this interest at a club level. Paperwork has been filed concerning the RX7 incident at the Solo Nationals. Meeting adjourned at: 8:32pm Todo:
