Treasurer Report

Questions were asked about the uncertainty of payout to AARCA for the May High Performance Driving school. Brian will follow up with Ian to determine the amount.

The numbers are being compiled for the May Race day/schools but breaking even looks unlikely due to poor attendance.


Race Report

Race #1 took place two weeks ago with a rather dismal attendance of 14 racers. The Race school took place with 6 students attending but only 1 driver taking their school race that weekend.


Rally Report

The Bluenose rally is upcoming on June 20th, pre-registrations are being accepted.

The RallySprint events are firming up with the roads secured and pace notes written. Events are July 12th and August 16th.


Solo Report

The June 20th test and tune at Digby has been cancelled due to lack of interest and to allow for attendance of the TSD Rally.

George requested updated classifications list for 2009 but no rules or classes have been published.

The first Slalom event was held last Sunday with 17 entrants. A lot of regulars were absent unfortunately and others due to car problems.

Additional paving is being done at the Digby airport which may offer new opportunities in the future.

Taylor MacArthur has approached Jason concerning new facilities for Truro, Jason will handle communication with him.

Solo Sprint:

Another bank account was set up for the SoloSprint Nationals to simplify intake and exhaust for event preparation. Brian indicated that he would prefer that the accounting remain with ASCC to maintain record keeping. 

Arrangements are being made for volounteer tshirts.

Dave Earle and Jenn Harrie are handling event marketing and sponsorship packages.

Mike Barker has arranged the first sponsorship for the event.

Tim Dine has the website done for the Solo Sprint nationals and is waiting for Dave Hull and the National comittee to approve and re-point the national domain name.
