November 12th-14th. Our club is now 55 years old. ASCC needs volunteers for this event and to find a location. Presidents Report Membership Report Treasurer Report $7460.10 in Chequing, $3509.41 in PayPal, $117 in Petty Cash All cheques are up to date. The High Performance Driving School netted $3134 Race Report 4 Drivers attended the May race school, 2 attending intend to race. The May Race consisted of 18 drivers in 13 cars and 3 open wheel racers. ARMS Lost about $2100 on the May Race Weekend. AMP Report Walter had asked if ASCC was donating to AMP, especially since the BMW Club was not. Alan Coles suggested they change the rental price so that our dontaion does not subsidize other clubs usage. The PA system worked well and has FM Frequency broadcast. Brian reported that, in 2009, ASCC spent $11000 in rentals at AMP, plus the $1200 donation. Pidge asked that Timing and Scoring be updated as to the double drivers of cars. Timing and Scoring is arranged for the June 26/27th double weekend. Mike Barker is to be the starter. Rally Report There was a regional rally held on Saturday, June 5th. 6 experienced and 4 novice crews registered. Brian and Libby Partridge got first overall with 2 points. (Libby is 8 1/2) Thanks to Charlotte for a great meal for competitors and workers. There is a BAC Club rally to be held on June 19th, registration at 11:00am, Car 0 at 1:00. The First BAC RallySprint will be held on June 25th. Solo Report An evening slalom will be held at Scotia Speed World one week from tonight. A Test and Tune wil take place in Digby on June 19th for $2.00 prior to the event the following day. MMSC held a Regional Solo in Moncton, 8 members of ASCC attended netting 1st and 4th. A lengthy discussion was held on wehther the event at Magnetic Mountain followed the "recommended" course design. Debbie asked that at any event, please ask to see the Insurance policy and sign the waiver. If there is a problem, speak to the organizer or steward. ASCC held an Evolution School in May. 13 people attended, only 4 with previous Solo experience. Several talked about coming to our events. ASCC made approximately $500 for the weekend. Slalom at Slemon will be held July 31st to August 1st. Early registration ends July 1st. Sign up early to save money. O'Regans has sponsored the next 2 Scotia Speed World events at $150 per event. A banner will be displayed. The first SoloSprint of the season is July 21st. Rain date is the following day. New Business Frank McCarthy delivered some of his motorsports stories.
